Volunteerism is fighting for relevance in an era when we are forced to endure diversity and equality and, for what I ask, lack of knowledge?

One of the main ways the democratic party is helping to undermine our society is to develop programs that eliminate white women and men who are knowledgeable about art, education and social sciences in museums and tourist spots across the country. Many of these volunteers are known as docents and they volunteer their time explaining art, antiquities, and history to visitors at museums and tourist spots.  Due to their ability to explain things to children and young adults, their positions are being eliminated by administrative managers who have an ideology against knowledge and history, whereby firing them.  It started when Covid 19 started, when everything such as schools, tourist spots and museums were closed. Once things started opening again the volunteers were eager to get back to work, but they never received a call to report back to work. Why would that be, oh because many of these locations who cried they have no funding to pay staff, were suddenly able to find the money to pay part-time students to be tour guides. Unfortunately, these new guides don’t have a clue about art or history. This is very sad to see since the old docents were more knowledgeable about the works within the museum and the history within their tourist location that is worth more than money can buy.

As an artist and historian, I loved speaking to the docents in various museums because when I had a question, I needed answered they usually could either answer it or direct me to someone who could. They were a wealth of knowledge that you can’t find in a book all the time. It’s a shame that organizations such as museums and tourist spots felt it necessary to do away with dedicated volunteers that would also be there to help staff the location. Instead, they hire individuals who would rather party all night and not show up for work when required. We are looking at the downfall of society due to this kind of stupidity.
