Senator Tommy Tuberville needs to resign as he has shown himself
to be incompetent, destructive to the American Military readiness and endangering
the national security of these United States. As of this writing he has shown
his distaste for our military by disrespecting every member who serves in
uniform by blocking the confirmation of not only the Marine Corps
Commandant, but the confirmation of 300 generals, admirals, who have not yet
been confirmed. His blockade has halted the confirmation of the top brass
of our military.
At a time when this country needs to show the world, we are
military strong and ready for a potential fight, this Senator Tuberville is
pissed off about one issue, the abortion policy that cannot be changed by the
majority of those he’s holding up their confirmation and promotions. The
Abortion policy he’s annoyed about is concerning the pentagon approval to pay with
military dollars for abortions or even sex changes, I’d be willing to table the
issue until the entire team is at full force. Little does he realize that
without being at full strength, the military/pentagon cannot make decisions
without proper leadership in place to make or suggest such policy changes. Hey
Senator Tuberville, did you know that your very Senate Body along with Congress
make the policy and approve it whereas the Pentagon only has to implement your policy
changes. So, get off your high horse and get back to work already. Plus, we
look like fools on the world stage. But then again, you’ve never been on the
world stage, only local stage in your football career. Maybe you’ve been on the
football field way too long and don’t realize that without a captain at the top
of the team roster, the team can’t play ball.
Thank Goodness, the Senate was able to sidestep Tuberville’s reckless
stalling of appointments by using a rarely used procedure to confirm the
following top generals/admirals to their current positions: General Eric Smith
to Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Charles Q Brown, Jr. to Chairman of
the Joint Chiefs, Admiral Lisa Franchetti to Chief of Naval Operations and General
Randy George as Army Chief of Staff. Good Luck Sirs may you guide your branch
with wisdom, strength and leadership.
