Election Day 2023

Election Day 2023

It is November and the month to which we use our single most important right under the Constitution, utilizing our voice via our Vote. That’s right, on Tuesday, November 7th Americans will go to the polls and cast their vote for local mayors, state legislatures, and a few local judges this year. I'm not going to tell you how or who to vote for, but I would like to remind you that you are an American and you have a responibility to vote properly. Due to it being an off year for elections, it will be a poor turnout of voters like it is every off-year election term. However, America has begun to awaken from its deep slumber so this might be the year that they turn out to let their voices be heard for the first time in a very long time. I hope you will be one of them.

When you go to the polls this year, please be sure to do your homework before you get there. Find out who is running, what they stand for, and if what they stand for aligns with your values and beliefs. Don’t just vote party line, because we know what has happened to this country with people voting party line, half this country is in poverty and the other half is struggling to get by. So, please consider rethinking your voting strategy and vote for the revival of American values and morals versus party politics. That also goes for your state and local elected officials. Remember the way you vote doesn't just impact you as an individual, but also your community and state as well. So be sure to vote responsibily.
