Clean Energy or Not?
The Department of
Energy website states the following: “The clean energy industry generates
hundreds of billions in economic activity and is expected to continue to grow
rapidly in the coming years. There is tremendous economic opportunity for the
countries that invent, manufacture, and export clean energy technologies.
Responsible development of all of
America’s rich energy resources --
including solar, wind, water, geothermal, bioenergy & nuclear -- will
help ensure America’s continued leadership in clean energy. Moving forward, the
Energy Department will continue to drive strategic investments in the
transition to a cleaner, domestic, and more secure energy future.” (Clean Energy |
Department of Energy)
However,
nowhere on the DOE’s website does it mention how they planned to recycle solar panels or wind turbines which are toxic to the environment. Yes, I
understand they were both created from earthly resources, but they wear out
very quickly and are then returned to the earth by burying them under the soil
to supposedly compost back into nature. REALLY? How can that be when they don’t
break down like organic matter.
Maybe
the DOE plans to use the discarded remnants for their Bioenergy program whereas
they use agricultural byproducts that they can experiment with their ability to
turn byproducts from farms into fuel, this would help them replace gasoline for
vehicles. What the Tesla won’t be able to replace gas in our vehicles? But they
said that’s why they were building electric cars, didn’t they?
Do
they plan to reroute our water supply to help them create more residual projects
for their Waterpower Technologies Office which “leads innovation with strategic
investments in early-stage research. Our partners in business, academia,
non-governmental organizations, and national laboratories use funding to
develop technologies that can help the United States harness the full potential
of hydropower and marine energy, leading to increased energy security, economic
vitality, and grid reliability. Learn more about our investments in
cutting-edge waterpower research.” (Clean Energy | Department of Energy)
A little scary don’t ya think. Check out their
website to see where their water projects are being conducted, a little surprising
for sure.
So
the question is this? Is there really clean renewable energy if all we’re doing
is cluttering up the environment with debris that won’t compost? Talk about an
environmental crisis – where are the environmental activists? Nowhere does it seem
they’ve gone completely silent as if paid off to be quiet about the abuse the
Department of Energy is trying to pull over the eyes of Americans? But I have
to wonder why their big mouths aren’t spouting off about these environmental
problems that are just waiting and costing taxpayers millions if not billions
of dollars in future cleanup projects.
If we go back to the first line of this piece, the DOE tells us exactly what their intent is in this subject matter. My Daddy always said if you want to fetter out corruption, follow the money. When I started researching clean energy all I found was the DOE promoting Clean energy through their website to help build better projects to help find solutions to provide clean energy. Then this one line kept smacking me in the face. "The clean energy industry generates hundreds of billions in economic activity and is expected to continue to grow rapidly in the coming years." Billions in economic activity is the key here, someone, whether it be a politician or a business connection to said politician is going to or is already making millions if not billions of dollars by our own government promoting all this clean air nonsense. Now I need to find out who is making money off of this cause and which politician is making the most kickbacks associated with it. If you know please reach out and let me know in the comments below.
