The Journey is about to begin

To Friends, Family and Associates:

The journey is about to begin and as time permits, we will be updating this blog with stories, experiences, and I hope pictures. Many of the posts will be semi encrypted, and might not make sense at times, but I promise to fill in the blanks once we are back. Just know that as of the date in which I post a message, all is well in IRAQ!

To those who helped me achieve the goal in making this trip a reality, I thank you for your continuous friendship, support and encouragement. You're all very dear to me and know that I value your friendship. Mr. P, thank you most of all for believing in my work and your generosity. We will not let you down!

We will not be able to receive mail since we will only be in country a short time. However, if you wish to send us anything, say a prayer instead. Not to worry the Marine Corps will take very good care of me and I have the best person covering my Six. Tony coming along on this trip has definately helped put my nerves at ease.
