I scratched my head this morning as I read articles about the Anti-War Protest this weekend, wondering if I was at the same protest this past Saturday. One article said the rally was 100,000 strong; they were lucky if they hit 9000 combined on both sides. Another article claimed tens of thousands of protestors marched along the eight-lane road of Pennsylvania Avenue. What city was that reporter in; it was not in Washington, DC because protesters only covered the entire street in the first few minutes of the march. Behind the initial group, they only occupied one lane on either side and the entire center of the road was devoid of protestors. (This was done so they could marched along side the road, trying their best to entice arguments from those who were pro-victory which were lining the streets.)
In many of the same articles, anti-war organizers claimed the metro system was deliberately shut down, whereby, preventing their people from attending. I had to laugh as I read these stories of fabrication, because I entered DC via the Metro and there was no delay. Throughout the morning, I walked passed four Metro Stations – the Smithsonian, Archive, McPherson and Farragut (the two latter stations are for Lafayette Park area) and there were no delays. The alleged shut down was apparently between the hours of ten and eleven-thirty, this never happened. I sat near the Archive Metro entrance drinking a cup of coffee while waiting for the protest to begin during that time. It was the same Metro line as those of McPherson and Farragut. During that hour and a half, I witnessed a continual stream of people exiting and entering the Metro’s entrance (tourist groups and anti-war protestors alike).
During this same timeframe, I had a long conversation with a female reporter from the Washington Post. I was honored to have been quoted in her article, but unfortunately, what she said was not what I said to her - "It will be a lot of bull horns, a lot of 'singing God Bless America', said Betty Kilbride.” The reporter dreamed up that inaccurate quote. I never once uttered those words at any time during our conversation. Our entire conversation consisted of various possible resources with back up information that she could refer to for her article, which she wrote down in her notebook. I guess she lost that piece of paper when it was time to phone in her story. I appreciated her using my name for a quote; but I really wish she had used some of the information I gave her as one of my quotes instead.
Anti-War Protestors claimed they were utilizing their First Amendment Right of Free Speech and Expression. They were from an eclectic background: retro-Vietnam Protestors reminiscent of their drug induced youth and teenagers who are not even of age to vote. The most dangerous of all were the non-American individuals from South America and the Middle East, who were clearly communist and terrorist supporters chanting obscenities at those lining the streets. Among in the group, were several active duty soldiers wearing the uniform of the United States Army. These Soldiers talked as if they were forced to enter the military; only to be shuttled off to Iraq like cattle being sent to slaughter. These cowards did not care about bucking regulations under the Uniform Code of Military Justice for wearing their uniform during a political protest, just wanted out of the military before they could be sent into a combat zone.
Besides the throwback hippies, there were young men dressed up like militants in black, wearing bandanas to cover their face; Muslims wearing traditional dress to show their support for the insurgents and terrorists; non-Americans groups clearing showing whose side they were on with tattoos of swastikas’ and Communist Stars, waving upside down American flags and Communist flags. Unfortunately, their actions and tactics were nothing about First Amendment Right to Free Speech; instead it was an opportunity for anarchy and communistic behavior to engage in chants against the United States Government and the American troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It was very clear throughout the day who was funding these anti-war protesters – Anti-American Organizations who were only interested in promoting civil disobedience and irresponsibility. Almost every protestor tried to engage the pro-victory protesters into some form of altercation. One woman by the name of Medea runs one of worst groups of all. I was surprised to learn in my research that this same woman was Jewish. She grew up in New York, and then moved to California where she legally changed her name to Medea and lived in Fidel Castro’s back yard for many years. Who in their right mind would denounce their own family heritage, knowing that Hitler’s Communist forces throughout World War II caused the Jewish persecution and align themselves with Communist organizations? What I also found ironic was that she chose to change her name to Medea from Greek mythology and known for being a ruthless evil murderer. Who with a sane mind would want to be associated with a woman known for killing the innocence of her own children? This woman is either psychologically damaged, or just an evil woman looking for attention. What surprised me even more was that her followers seemed to be just as bad as she was. They had no class, no manners and apparently no understanding of world affairs. They believe the propaganda that both the media and their organizations spew. On the other hand, maybe they could not find a date for the weekend so they came out to show their friends they could get on television. How pathetic

The proof is in the pudding; the media never reported anything about the Pro-victory supporters, I wonder why? Maybe because they did not cause any civil disobedience and the number of arrests throughout the weekend for the anti-war protesters were over 200. One has to wonder what side of democracy these anti-war protesters are on - good or evil. This is not Rocket Science people – its pure evil!
