Today is Christmas Eve and while many will be home celebrating with their families and getting ready for Saint Nick to show up in the morning, there are a number of special citizens who where the uniform of our law enforcement community who will be out patroling the street to keep us safe. To them I say, be safe and try to have a Merry Christmas, may you all come home safely after your tour of duty. Don't let the naysayers get you down either, I for one have your six. Be blessed and know that there are many of us out here that support you 110%. Be safe and enjoy the holiday season knowing you are treasured for what you do.
P S this message is also for all those who wear the uniform of our Firefighters, EMS, Paramedics, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Merchant Marines and Coast Guard, please know I support you too and wish you all a happy Christmas. Be safe and proud of what you're doing each day.
