So where are the loudmouth bitches who protested for women’s rights back in the 70s? You know Loudmouth Gloria Steinem, Pauli Murray, and Shirley Chisholm members of The Westside Group, National Organization of Women, and Chicago Women’s Liberation Union who protested every day for the feminist movement burning their bras walking around bare-breasted and stuff to make themselves be heard and seen? Where are they now that the women of this world need them to stand up and fight for women’s rights? They are silent as a lamb. All talk and no action when it doesn’t suit their needs huh? What cowards they were back then and even more so now that they won’t allow their so-called powerful voice to be heard in defense of women’s sports. They fought for Title IX and now that it’s being jeopardized, they abandon it like a used tissue after a good cry. Where is all the great outpouring of feminist writing, from incitements to action, group manifestos, and visionary analyses to seething satires, passionate polemics, and the burgeoning of feminist poetry, fiction, plays, film, and visual arts that combats this attack on women across the world by men posing as women? No, where that’s where they are? Silent and afraid to speak up due to potential culture shaming against transgender individuals who need mental health counseling instead of sex change operations. So what we can gather from history now is that the Women’s liberation movement was nothing but a sham disguised as an action to help women. Talk about a scam to gain headlines and fame. The women who protested back then and who are being silent today should be ashamed of themselves for not stepping forward to help the women of today battle the shame they are facing by having their hard work as athletes stolen from them by men who couldn’t cut in men’s sports posing as women in order to gain medals they don’t deserve. Speak up ladies or your legacy will go down as the scam it once was.
