Voter Intimidation is wide spread and it’s destroying
America
Throughout the years, the most common cases of voter
intimidation were to suppress the voices of low-income and minority voters, but
in recent years it’s turned much uglier as it has now become the norm to
intimidation any voter that doesn’t agree with the Democratic Party. The
intimidation game clearly suppresses freedom of speech or freedom to express
your political views without causing repercussions against you, your business
or your livelihood. However, politics has changed its mind of our one’s historical
facts out of all facts in history, because they’ve tried to and are succeeding
to erase history completely from out history books, school books, libraries,
family history and most of all our community history by tearing down monuments
that depict historical figures throughout time. The game changer is the intimidation
game. In today’s society we call it bullying, but in reality, it’s just another
form of political intimidation.
After 45 years in politics, I can definitely attest to
seeing first had the amount of voter intimidation across this country. You see,
Republicans pick a candidate to run one year out before an election and are
stuck on one subject and can’t seem to multitask, however, the Democratic party
chooses their candidate 3-5 years out, school them on multiple issues and
garner strength amongst supporters and their participants not only can walk and
chew gum at the same time, they can also multitask in bullying opponents and
their supports through social media and the press.
Throughout history it used to be a sin in politics if you
were caught having an affair, caught in a crime, or caught up in any type of
scandal that could damage your credibility, but in today’s society, a scandal
makes you a celebrity with credible standing on social media because it gets
you press across the country. Whereas, in the past you’d have been shunned and
dishonorably kicked out of social clubs, loss of influential friends,
connections and loss of funding not to mention run out of town with your tail
tucked between your legs. Elected officials today think they are Teflon and
can’t be touched or voted out of office because they know the machine behind
them will intimidate anyone that stand up against them. We as American’s need
to stop this type of bullying and stand firm to elect honorable individuals to
represent us in office.
Why has society changed so much and allowing voter intimidation and fraud to take control of one of our very freedoms endowed upon us in the Constitution and Bill of Rights?
